Privacy and Cookie Policy

How Pathways Clinical Psychology collects, uses and protects your personal information, and how this website uses cookies.

Last updated: October 2026

Who we are

This website is run by Pathways Clinical Psychology Limited, which provides individual online psychological therapy for adults through Dr Ella Solomon, HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist. Pathways Clinical Psychology Limited is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, please email [email protected].

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website or by email, we collect the information you choose to give us. This usually includes:

  • your full name
  • your email address
  • your telephone number, if you provide it
  • your message

Please avoid including detailed or highly sensitive personal or medical information in your initial enquiry.

If you go on to have therapy, further information about you, including information about your health, will be recorded as part of your clinical care. You will be given more information about how this is handled before therapy begins.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • respond to your enquiry and arrange an introductory consultation
  • provide, manage and arrange therapy appointments
  • take payment for sessions
  • meet our professional, legal and regulatory obligations

We will never sell your information or use it for marketing.

Our lawful basis

We process enquiry information because you have asked us to respond to you, and because it is in our legitimate interests to answer enquiries about our services. Information about your health is processed to provide health care, under the conditions that UK data protection law sets for health and care services, and in line with professional confidentiality.

Who we share it with

Your information is treated confidentially. We only share it where this is needed to run the service, or where we are required to, for example:

  • trusted service providers who host this website and enquiry form, provide secure video sessions, or process payments (payments are taken securely through Stripe)
  • clinical supervision, where any client information discussed is anonymised
  • where there are serious concerns about your safety or someone else's safety, safeguarding concerns, or legal obligations; where possible, this will be discussed with you beforehand

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Enquiries that do not lead to therapy are deleted once they are no longer needed. Clinical records are kept for the period required by professional and legal guidance.

Keeping your information secure

We take appropriate steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including using secure, password-protected systems.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
  • ask us to restrict or stop using your information in some circumstances
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To make a request, please email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are needed for it to work properly, for example to load pages, display the enquiry form and keep the site secure. Some of these are set by the services that host the website and the enquiry form.

This website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your device connects to Google's servers to download them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some parts of the website, such as the enquiry form, may not work as expected.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
