About
Hello, I'm Ella, a Clinical Psychologist and founder of Pathways Clinical Psychology.
I recognise that reaching out for psychological support can sometimes feel daunting. I provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences, understanding your difficulties and finding a way forward that feels meaningful to you.

Background
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Liverpool and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I have worked across NHS, private and charity settings, supporting people experiencing a range of emotional, psychological and health-related difficulties.
Alongside Pathways Clinical Psychology, I work within a specialist NHS health psychology service. This has given me particular experience in supporting people adjusting to physical health conditions, uncertainty, changes in identity and the emotional challenges that can accompany significant life events.
I also have a particular interest in women's mental health, including fertility challenges, pregnancy, menopause and the pressures that can arise from balancing multiple responsibilities and caring roles.

Philosophy
I believe that psychological therapy should be a collaborative and individual experience.
You bring your own knowledge, experiences and understanding of your life, while I bring clinical expertise and psychological approaches that can help us make sense of the difficulties you're facing.
My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity and respect, with an emphasis on helping you develop a greater understanding of yourself rather than simply focusing on symptoms.
Together, we can explore unhelpful patterns, develop new perspectives and identify ways of moving forward that feel manageable and meaningful.
